Randall City Council Briefs

On Wednesday, June 12, the Randall City Council:

• Approved a donation of $750 to the Initiative Foundation for 2025;

• Approved an update to the City’s floodplain ordinance;

• Approved the final plat for the Brummer construction project;

• Approved awarding $478,950 to the lowest of six bidders, two of which were disqualified, for the rehabilitation of the Randall water tower;

• Approved changes in wage allocation for city employees due to the former Randall Municipal Liquor Store having been sold to Shady’s Group;

• Approved a new water system emergency response plan;

• Approved the repainting of one side of a door connected to the Bingo Park building for $1,440; and

• Approved planning and zoning permits for a shed within the Butler residence and a garage within the Boros residence.

The next meeting of the Randall City Council is at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, in the meeting room at Randall City Hall.
