Troop 13 Scout Ray Unger Earns Eagle Rank
Ray Unger, a recent graduate of Wetumpka High School and former member of Wetumpka Scout Troop 13, achieved Eagle rank during his last year of high school. Unger got his start in Scouting as a member of Cub Scout Pack 50 in 2012, chartered at that time by First Baptist Church in Wetumpka. While at Pack 50, he earned the God and Me religious award and the Arrow of Light, the highest level of achievement in Cub Scouts.
2024 Cougars look to continue success under Floyd
While the 2024 Clay-Chalkville Cougars may look different on the sideline and the field, one thing will remain the same: their pursuit of championships. Under first-year head coach Stuart Floyd, the Cougars will be looking to win back-to-back 6A titles and the school’s third state championship in four years. Clay has compiled 37-2 overall and 18-0 region records over the last three years.
Cullman Regional Hospice MEGA CASH Draw Down Set for July 25
CULLMAN, Ala. – Hospice of Cullman County, Inc. of Cullman Regional Hospice recently announced the MEGA CASH Draw Down, its largest annual fundraiser benefiting indigent patients, will be held on Thursday, July 25, at 6 p.m. at Stone Bridge Farms.
