Community Cakewalks set to return
ELKINS — A series of community fundraising cakewalks is set to kick off its fourth year with an event Friday evening. Proceeds from Friday’s cakewalk event – which will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Citizens Bank of West Virginia customer parking lot – will benefit the Randolph County CLIMB Organization, a youth mentoring program in Randolph County Schools.

Harman man indicted on murder charge
ELKINS — A Harman man has been indicted for murder, one of 32 indictments handed down by a Randolph County grand jury Monday afternoon. Dallas Ray Bryant, 70, now an inmate at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail, was indicted on one felony count of murder,one felony count of use or presentation of a firearm during commission of a felony, and two misdemeanor counts of false information.
