Dispute at Jackson lounge moves to park, ends in shooting
JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson police are investigating an early morning shooting. Police said the incident stemmed from a Thursday night confrontation between a group of people at the Kemistry Lounge downtown. After the group was asked to leave, police said they took the dispute to Jayne Avenue Park, where shots rang out shortly before 3:30 a.m. Friday.
