Pruitt breaks down Diamond Dawg decision
The 4th of July fireworks are starting a little early in Starkville, Mississippi as highly coveted pitcher Jacob Pruitt has decided to be a Diamond Dawg. During the 2024 campaign, Pruitt 41.2 innings allowing 14 earned runs on 35 hits. He struck out 57 and walked 23 hitters on the season. He opened the season as the Friday night starter providing three straight quality starts that included 31 strikeouts before missing more than a month with a minor injury.
