Flames spark at apartment building in Taylor
TAYLOR, Pa. — Fire damaged an apartment building in Lackawanna County. Flames broke out just before 1 p.m. Saturday along the 100 block of North Main Street in Taylor. Smoke was seen coming from the back of the building. Several fire departments responded to help put out the flames.

Duryea manufacturer to add 100 jobs as part of major expansion
A Duryea robotics and automated equipment manufacturer plans to expand and add dozens of jobs during the next three years, its leader said Friday. Michael McHale, president and CEO of Production Systems Automation Inc., announced the expansion plan during an event with Gov. Josh Shapiro. Fire damages home in Pittston
PITTSTON, Pa. — Flames damaged a home in Luzerne County on Saturday. Crews were called to a home along Butler Street in the city around 1:30 p.m. "Once it got into the attic, it traveled the ridgeline, which made it a very difficult fire to fight. Scranton, Lackawanna Co. — Scranton Police were called after a suspicious person attempted to conduct a bank transaction at Community Back in the 500 block of Davis Street.
