Keystone College Observatory Announces Summer Sessions
The Keystone College Thomas G. Cupillari ’60 Astronomical Observatory will offer a four-week summer schedule which began on Wednesday, July 17, and continues each Wednesday and Friday evening from 9 – 11 p.m. through Friday, August 16. The sessions are provided free of charge as a service to the community. Advanced registration or reservations are not required.

Man arrested after shooting barbershop owner in Wilkes-Barre
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A man who shot a business owner in Luzerne County in May of last year has been arrested. United States Marshall announced the arrest of 34-year-old Julio Rivas of Wilkes-Barre on Friday morning. PITTSTON, Pa. — Flames damaged a home in Luzerne County on Saturday. Crews were called to a home along Butler Street in the city around 1:30 p.m. "Once it got into the attic, it traveled the ridgeline, which made it a very difficult fire to fight.
