Coeur d'Alene council throws support behind fairgrounds
The Coeur d’Alene City Council on Tuesday threw its support for the North Idaho State Fair to keep its longtime home at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. The council unanimously approved a resolution “encouraging Kootenai County to maintain the current Kootenai County Fairgrounds as the site of the Fair into the future."

Man Accused in Lewiston Stabbing Case to Enter Treatment Program to Avoid Prison Sentence
LEWISTON - A man who was accused of stabbing another man at a Lewiston residence in May has changed his plea as part of a plea deal. Lewiston Police responded to a report that a man had been stabbed at a residence in the 200 block of South Garden Court around 8:00 a.m. on May 23. 20-year-old Torquil E.
