Arson deemed cause of overnight fire at car wash on Spokane's South Hill
SPOKANE, Wash. — Fire crews responded to an early morning fire at a car wash connected to the Conoco gas station located in the 4500 block of South Regal Street. Investigators say the fire started outside the building and then made its way into a wall. Once the fire was in the wall it spread to the car wash. Firefighters say they were able to control the fire in around 40 minutes. According to a release, most of the fire was in voids of the wall between the exterior brick veneer and heavy-gauge metal sheathing on the interior.
