Missoula Homeless Woman Lights U.S. Post Office Bushes on Fire
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On July 17, 2024, Missoula Police Department Officers were dispatched to the U.S. Post Office located at 1100 Kent Avenue for a report of a fire. Call details described a homeless female lit a bush on fire next to the building and the flames were almost as tall as the flagpole. An officer responded to the Post Office and contacted the complainant who is an employee.

A new grocery tenant has been announced as the anchor for an upcoming mixed-use development near Bozeman, Mont. Rosauers Supermarkets has signed a long-term lease at the new Jackrabbit Crossing development in Belgrade, located within Montana’s Gallatin Valley. The 196-acre, master-planned, mixed-use project is being developed by Venture West Development as a “true live/work/shop community.”

Still, UM News Service tells us that judging by the amount of interested applicants already, it appears a new degree is taking the campus by storm. Montana Ranchers Scammed over Hay during Drought
The drought of 2021 was hard on nearly all of state agriculture, which included a hay shortage. Now throw in a con man to further hurt family operations. Jory D. Parks of Logan, Kansas pulled a fraud on Facebook, advertising hay in large quantities for sale, and offering to deliver into Montana and Wyoming. He received advances from ranches desperate for hay for their livestock. You guessed it, Parks pocketed the funds for his personal and business use, without delivering the forage.
