'A mess': Trump bashes Detroit during speech to the city's Economic Club

Former President Donald Trump criticized Detroit as "a mess" while giving a speech in the city on Thursday.

Addressing the Detroit Economic Club, Trump argued that Vice President Kamala Harris would not prioritize collecting dues from NATO countries if she won the 2024 election.

"I don't think anything that we're talking about today is high on her list," he opined. "The whole country is going to be like — you want to know the truth? It'll be like Detroit."

"Our whole country will end up being like Detroit. If she's your president , you're going to have a mess on your hands," he added. "She destroyed San Francisco."

"And we're not going to let her do that to this country. We're not going to let it happen."

You take words and you turn them around he wants to help this country… you’re nothing but gossipers… You take one phrase and you run with it you’re stupid people… What is wrong with you? Our country is not good.. and do you think it’s going to get better? If this man does not get into office, it is only going to get worse. He can do the job and turn things around. It does not mean you have to like him…. Get rid of the hate that the Biden and Harris administration has put on him and the lies or things are going to get bad… get real people it is not a game.. we are the ones that are going to pay… Harris does not have a brain you see it for yourself.. they’re filling you with lies and you are believing them. I promise you….. I live here with myself. I watch both sides very very very closely…..
