Ex-Trump aide laughs watching Trump's town hall: 'This is not even the man I worked for'

The co-hosts of "The View" spent the first two segments of the show on Tuesday talking about Donald Trump's town hall which turned into the former president playing music instead of answering questions.

"It should really freak everybody out — 57 minutes, right?" Goldberg said, claiming that was the time Trump spent playing music when he was supposed to be answering questions. "Fifty-seven minutes of him playing music, not saying jack-doo about anything that has to do with what's going on in the world. This freaked me out. He's freaked me out a lot, but this really upset me."

Joy Behar said Trump seemed lost on several issues. One question about affordable housing resulted in an answer about drilling to get more oil.

Eventually, he stopped all questions as audience members needed medical attention at the Pennsylvania event Monday, and instead started playing music and dancing.

"I mean, the guy doesn't know the differenc e between a rally or whatever that was and 'Dancing With the Stars,'" said Behar.

Former Trump communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin said it further shows just how bad Trump has fallen.

"I saw this last night. I thought it was a deepfake," she said. She then played a clip of Trump singing "Time to Say Goodbye" during the rally and actor Will Ferrell in the film "Step Brothers" singing the same song.

"I could joke about it all day, but this is serious. This is not even the man I worked for , who had all sorts of problems," Griffin said after laughing. "There's a decline, and I worry the history books might say everyone was quick to call out Joe Biden's age and issues, but we missed that someone else is just flying under the radar, clearly in decline."
