Frustrated insiders are warning former President Donald Trump not to trust his "embarrassing" campaign leadership in vital swing states with razor-thin margins, according to a new report.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk's super PAC and a controversial Trump ally's minions are inspiring grumbles in the Republican presidential nominee's inner circle over get-out-the-vote operations in battleground states, Rolling Stone reported Wednesday.

"Several Republican operatives and other figures in the national party have bluntly and directly informed Trump they fear Musk’s organization is falling down on the job of mobilizing voters," Rolling Stone reported.

"Some partly blame, including when they’ve spoken to Trump, the group’s lead strategists, who are linked to the failed 2024 primary run of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis."

Rolling Stone relied on anonymous sources and screenshots of text conversations to confirm Trump is “constantly” bombarded with criticisms and concerns about Musk-supported America PAC ’s efforts in key swing states.

Sources told Rolling Stone several members of Trump’s inner circle are wondering why Musk's operation is led by officials from DeSantis’ expensive and unsuccessful campaign to wrestle the Republican presidential nomination away from him.

"There remains intense hatred and distrust between the two camps," Rolling Stone reported.

"Many in the upper ranks of Trumpland view Team DeSantis as woefully incompetent and out-of-touch, and they wonder, as one Trump adviser put it recently to Rolling Stone , 'why in the world would we trust them with anything?'"

Concerns are also mounting that America PAC is running out of time as Nov. 5 draws closer and the group still seeks to hire canvassers on its website, the report noted.

As one high-roller Trump donor asked rhetorically to Rolling Stone, "Why isn’t the army already in place?”

No sane minded people would ever vote for a CONVICTED FELON to be the president of a big and serious nation as ours. Trump is old, incoherent, a liar, unserious, and unhinged human being that can't be trusted with anything. He screwed 1.5 million of us up when he could have been working to curtail the spread of covid19. He was busy trafficking in conspiracy theories and gaslighting the whole nation. Instead of warning and preparing us for what to come even when the intelligence got to him in December of 2018, that a flu like virus may likely spread to this side, he declined and denied the intelligence. The result was devastating on our people. Nearly 1.5 million people lost their lives. Businesses were shutting down in their thousands. Unemployment was creeping in bigly. There was no sense of urgency in the WH. Instead, he was busy fighting with a 16 year old Greta Thurnberg for noble Laurette, while he was advising the country to drink bleach to eradicate covid.
