Former President Donald Trump admitted that Vice President Kamala Harris identifies as Black after previous accusations that she recently "turned Black" to help her election chances.

During a podcast this week with Patrick Bet-David, Trump suggested he was gaining support from Black men because he signed legislation to fund historically Black colleges and universities.

"And I think that's why Black men really like me," he said. "And I think Black women do, too, but they have a woman who is Black, although you would say she's Indian, but she is Black ."

"But really, a lot of people didn't know, which is true," the former president added.

"I learned about it just a couple months ago," Bet-David remarked.

"That she's Black, or that she's Indian?" Trump asked.

"The fact that she's Black," the podcast host said. "I thought she was Indian until a couple months ago."

    "People change," Trump opined.

A recent New York Times poll found Trump had 12% support among Black women.
