MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski ramped up her attacks on Fox News and the network's Bret Baier Friday for running what she said was a deceptive clip during an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

It led her to sharply accuse the network for efforts to protect Donald Trump.

Baier has been criticized for running a clip of the former president dismissing accusations that he has threatened his political enemies if he is re-elected. During his back-and-forth with Harris, the topic came up and Baier ran a clip — which was not of Trump's threat but of his dismissal.

That led Harris to exclaim, "That is not what you just showed" after which he argued and attempted to talk over her as she protested.

During a Thursday night Fox broadcast, Baier finally admitted that the wrong clip was run by "mistake," and on Friday morning MSNBC's Brzezinski made the case that Baier was lying — and it had been planned to make Harris look like an "angry Black woman."

The MSNBC host said any television professional would have admitted straight away that the wrong clip was played and that Baier and his producers would have caught it.

After stating, "I'm calling it a lie," she added, "Bret Baier chose to cover it up and then didn't clean it up for 24 hours. As I said earlier, in TV news, hosts and producers know immediately when a clip is wrong. Kamala Harris knew the clip is wrong. This was live to tape, so they even had time to clean it up when the interview aired, which actually makes it worse."

"They all knew. they had time to correct this, but they wanted her righteous anger in context, which was absolutely the normal reaction, to 8.2 million Americans being misled," she continued. "But what did Bret do instead of correcting this? He hid the ball. He hid the truth. He did what Donald Trump would have wanted him to do."

"Call that malice aforethought," she accused. "Anybody on that show, they knew what they were doing. They let it go for 24 hours and did a very weak, light, quick apology and never really addressed it."

"They knew what they were doing. and I'm just really glad that 8.2 million Americans had a chance to get a glimmer into how far Fox News would go to mislead the American people, their viewers, for the benefit of a man who calls people who don't agree with him 'the enemy from within'," she added.

If this is true, who cares? Dozens of petty inconsequential news articles are published every single day to discredit DJT and to distract from the issues that this incompetent administration has created. Kamala wanted to regurgitate the tired talking points of leftist propaganda news media and Brett wasn't having it. LMAO
