Wild Adventures offers free admission for military during Celebrate America Festival
VALDOSTA – Wild Adventures celebrates Independence holiday with free admission for military, fireworks, and the Harlem Globetrotters. Wild Adventures Theme Park is celebrating America’s Independence for two weeks by offering free admission for active and retired military, performances from the Harlem Globetrotters, and patriotic fireworks displays during the Celebrate America Festival.
Turner Center wraps up Summer Art Camp
VALDOSTA – The Turner Center for the Arts wraps up the four-day Summer Art Camp experience in art education through three youth art camps. The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts announces that the Summer Art Camps have came to a wrap. 41 youth received a four-day experience in art education through three youth summer art camps offered by the Turner Center for the Arts. Students enjoyed participating in drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, culinary arts, and ceramics projects. Class disciplines offered during summer camps will continue throughout the year.
