Kentucky hospital adds new endoscopic spine technology
Louisville, Ky.-based UofL Health – Medical Center East is the first in the state to add Elliquence technology for endoscopic spine surgery. David Freeman, MD, of UofL Health Brain & Spine Institute performed the first case with the technology in September 2023, according to a July 22 news release. Elliquence provides direct visualization with scopes, and its technology has been used for other anatomical procedures.
