Covered Bridge Collapsed and Truck Fell into River in Maine
An overweight gravel truck fell through Babb’s Covered Bridge in Windham and crashed into the Presumpscot River around 12:45 pm Friday. The driver, 37-year-old Joshua Polewarzyk from Limington, had minor injuries and was able to get out of the F750 truck. Police said “Excessive Weight” Caused Collapse.

Machias, ME – Sunrise County Economic Council (SCEC) has been awarded a $541,000 Congressionally Directed Spending Award through the U.S. Small Business Administration to expand its small business services and programs in Washington County.
