Fantasy and history will cross paths on Sunday, July 21, during the Northwest Carriage Museum’s “Midsummer Magic” event with the appearance of a “live unicorn” and an afternoon of family-friendly activities, according to a news release from the Raymond-based museum.

The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. at Riverfront Park, 314 Alder St, Raymond. Attendees will have the opportunity to take pictures with the unicorn, play a round of frisbee golf in Riverfront Park, enjoy “UniCorn Dog” meal deals, tasty bake sale treats, popcorn and a refreshing drink in a collectible cowboy hat cup, along with bubbles and other activities.

The organization invites community members to “bring the whole family down to support the Northwest Carriage Museum and take advantage of the unique opportunity to take a picture with a unicorn!” according to the news release.

This event will help to raise funds in support of the Northwest Carriage Museum. Some activities will require payment in addition to admission into the museum. Unicorn photo participants get half price admission to the museum. Museum members always receive free admission.

The Northwest Carriage Museum encourages visitors to “stay and play amidst the fun and wonder of an afternoon spent outside in our beautiful park, and inside the museum in a time capsule of adventure.”
