Drought continues to fade away in Missouri
Drought conditions in Missouri continue to fade away. The latest drought monitor shows only one small abnormally dry area, covering portions of Newton, Jasper, Barry, and Lawrence counties in the southwest part of the state. An abnormally dry area that covered extreme southern Barry County last week is gone thanks to recent rainfall.

Missing Springfield man found dead in Camden County
A man who was recently reported as missing was found dead near a golf course on July 24. Brent L. Johnson, 58, of Springfield, was reported missing by his family on Monday morning. Camden County Deputies responded to Old Kinderhook Golf Course near the Lake of the Ozarks to investigate.
Travis Kelce got into altercation with teammate
Travis Kelce made his presence known early on in training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs when he and another teammate got into to it. Kelce got in the face of George Karlaftis after the defender laid out Kadarius Toney during a recent practice.
