KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Department of Labor and OSHA are proposing new safety hazards for the excessive heat in the workplace as a heat advisory continues in Kansas City. The proposed rule would require companies to develop emergency response plans, establish rest breaks, and provide shade and water.
