Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office to host Women’s Self-Defense Course on July 23rd and July 24th

RICHLAND PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD) — The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office announces a free Women’s Self-Defense Course on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, and Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the RPSO Training Building on 474 Highway 15 in Rayville.

The class is limited to 25 daily attendees, and a light meal will be provided. It will be taught by certified Equalizer Women’s Self-Defense Program instructors.

The program is designed to equip women with the knowledge and skills to recognize the risk of violent and property crimes, and to defend against, survive, and escape physical attacks. It’s about empowering you with practical self-defense strategies.
