Award-winning author to visit NELA Children’s Museum
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum is getting a visit from an award-winning author. On Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m. Sheila Jones will visit the museum to talk about The Green Pepper Project. According to museum officials, the project is designed to explore your emotions and will last about 45 minutes.

FARMERVILLE, La. (KNOE) - A status conference and motion hearings in the case of Trey Holly will happen on July 17. Holly was arrested in February 2024 on three felony charges relating to a shooting incident in Union Parish, which caused his suspension from the LSU football team. The suspect’s charges did include one count of attempted second-degree murder, but a jury rejected that charge in April.
