Council Passes Resolutions, Adopts Ordinances Concerning Parking Fees, Park Building Rentals
FANWOOD, NJ – Mayor Colleen Mahr and the Fanwood Borough Council held a regularly scheduled meeting Thursday night, August 22, via Zoom. The Council adopted, on second reading, an ordinance setting the rental fees for the La Grande and Forest Road Park buildings and the LaGrande Park Pavilion for 2025. SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood Recreation Department's popular youth basketball program returns this fall to the Memorial Middle School Gymnasium. The co-ed program is for grades kindergarten through eighth graders and runs from Saturday, September 21 through Saturday, November 16. Games will be scheduled from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost is $65 for Spotswood residents and $70 for non-residents.

Players from Manalapan Township (N. J.) LL Challenger and California D68 Challenger Division were invited to continue the tradition of a picnic in their honor.
