Shreveport Performers Await Payment for Month-Old ‘Humor and Harmony’ Show Shreveport, LA – A month after the highly anticipated Humor and Harmony show in Shreveport, local performers and staff are still waiting for their compensation. The event, which took place in early August, was billed as a showcase of local comedy and musical talent, drawing a significant crowd. However, despite its success, those who contributed to the production claim they have yet to receive their promised payments. Several performers, staff and musicians, have expressed their frustration at the lack of communication from the event organizers. One local comedian, who wished to remain anonymous, shared, "It’s been a full month, and none of us have seen a dime. We worked hard to make the show a success, but now we’re being ignored." The show was organized by an out-of-town production company, which had promised performers compensation following the event. However, attempts to reach the company for comment have been unsuccessful. Many performers have turned to social media to voice their concerns, hoping to pressure the organizers into action. "It's disappointing, to say the least," said another performer. "We trusted that the organizers would honor their commitments. Shreveport has a lot of talent, and we shouldn’t have to deal with this kind of treatment." Rico Dukes Founder of Theyfeartrith Distribution has offered advice to affected performers, urging them to gather documentation of any agreements and to consider legal action if the situation remains unresolved. As of now, the organizers have not made any public statements, leaving performers uncertain about when – or if – they will receive their payments. For many, the experience has soured what was otherwise a successful night of comedy and music, casting a shadow over future events in the area.
