I’m a Fall Decor Minimalist, and My Favorite Wreath Is Subtle, Elegant, and Just $19

I am picky about home decor and prefer more elevated options that won’t go out of style quickly. Fall-inspired finds, in particular, can be obnoxious and incorporate Halloween-specific details that won’t necessarily make it appropriate to keep up through Thanksgiving. So, I'm immediately intrigued when I find an elegant, affordable decoration that can be displayed for longer than a month.

My apartment needed some seasonal accents, so I had the chance to test the Way to Celebrate Harvest Eucalyptus Wreath from Walmart. It’s been a subtle yet warm addition to my space and has added character without taking up much room. The best part is it’s on sale right now for just $19.

I’ll be honest: Being a decor-loving shopping writer living in a studio apartment is tough. I’ve always adored helping my mom decorate for every season, so I was super excited to let my creative juices flow once I got my own place. However, I have to be more strategic with the pieces I invest in to ensure they won’t overwhelm my small space and are easily storable when it’s time to put them away for next year.

While I’m a fan of wreaths on front doors as an inviting decoration for guests, I opted to hang the red, orange, and yellow style inside my apartment on my bathroom door. Since I don’t have a lot of open counter space, autumnal, stationary decorations aren’t the best options. Adding the harvest wreath was a no-brainer since it takes up no additional room but still adds the fall flair I was looking for. If you have more room for decor than me, it would also make a festive focal point above a TV, mantel, or as a table centerpiece with a statement pillar candle in the middle.

Shoppers love the faux wreath as much as I do, with one person saying it’s even more beautiful in person. Another customer said its leaves are full and easy to fluff and reshape if the branches get bent, so you don’t have to worry about it holding its shape when it’s packed away. Instead of on their front door, a third shopper hung it on their kitchen wall for a colorful accent.

Be sure to grab the harvest-inspired wreath while it’s on sale ahead of Walmart’s huge fall sale— Walmart Deals —and keep scrolling for more festive styles.
