Tamra Judge Shares Photos Filming RHOC Confessionals With Daughter Sophia

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge has been unable to film her three younger kids for over a decade. Since her separation and divorce from Simon Barney, he has refused to permit their children to appear on RHOC.

But all that has changed now that youngest daughter Sophia Barney has turned 18. Now that she’s an adult, she no longer needs her dad’s permission to participate in her mom’s TV show.

Recently Tamra posted a behind-the-scenes pic of herself and Sophia on the RHOC set. It was the first time she’d been filmed for the show in over ten years.

Tamra’s “mini-me”

In the photo, Tamra appeared to be filming confessionals for the show. She also shared a couple of photos of Sophia when she was younger and still allowed to be on the show.

“Full circle moment having Sophia back on #RHOC after all these years!” Tamra captioned the photo on Instagram. “Last seen in Season 5, you’ll now get to see a huge part of my life that I haven’t been able to share until now. She’s my mini-me, and I’m so proud of her.”

Fans in the comments section seemed to agree with Sophia being Tamra’s “mini-me.” Comment after comment noted how much the two resemble each other.

“I feel sad we couldn’t see you as a mother on screen! She is your twin!” gushed a fan.

“Time flies! She’s gorgeous! Just like mamma,” another follower wrote.

“What a gorgeous mother-daughter duo!!” another posted.

“Copy + paste,” joked another.

“Beautiful mother and daughter,” added Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas .

Where’s Sophia been all this time?

Tamra and Simon’s contentious relationship and eventual divorce were well documented on the show. The couple shared three children: daughters Sidney (25) and Sophia, as well as son Spencer (23). The pair were married for 13 years before they divorced in 2011.

Even though Sophia has been living with Tamra since her parent’s divorce, she wasn’t allowed to be on camera until she turned 18. But she won’t be on the show for long, since now she’s preparing to head off to college.

“She’s such a good kid. I don’t know where the hell it came from,” Tamra said of her youngest child.

Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
