Joe Giudice Defends ‘Great Guy’ Luis Ruelas After Backlash: ‘Good to My Daughters’

Luis Ruelas has been through the wringer after Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14. He needs all the help he can get. Lucky for him, Joe Giudice just stepped up to offer some.

Granted, even before Season 14, Luis took a lot of heat from RHONJ viewers. As Teresa Giudice’s new husband, fans felt Luis was no better for Tre than her ex.

However, now that we’re in the present day, viewers turned the heat on Luis to an 11. As such, Luis needs all the help he can get. So, in came Joe to try and do damage control.

Joe Giudice says Teresa’s daughters are “fortunate” to have Luis Ruelas

On August 13, Joe made a textpost on his Instagram story to clear the air around Louie. Joe wrote, “I don’t know why everyone has to take everything out of context. I know there are a lot of stories out there saying I commented badly on Louie. I’ve spent time with Louie, and I want to say I would never say anything wrong about him.”

Joe continued, “Louie is a great guy and very good to my daughters. My daughters are very fortunate to have him in their lives. I’m grateful for that. That’s all I have to say. Enough with this BS.” Most fans would disagree that anyone is fortunate to have Luis in their lives. Then again, Tre’s daughters seem to tell a different story.

In October 2023, Bravo compiled evidence to show where Luis and Joe stood . For example, on her mother’s podcast, Milania Giudice said, “Louie is such a great stepdad. He really is. He’s an amazing stepdad. Come on, you guys know [my dad]. He’s Juicy Joe. You think he’s going to let anybody around his girls who he doesn’t like? No.”
