Peter Madrigal Reveals Why He Ended Friendship With Jax Taylor: ‘We’re Done’

Peter Madrigal , a peripheral cast member on Vanderpump Rules , recently announced on a podcast interview that he no longer entertains a friendship with Jax Taylor . It feels like the good old days of VPR, with all the camaraderie, is an outdated memory.

The VPR alum is dealing with a lot of changes in his life recently. Jax’s marriage to Brittany Cartright fell apart, and he is currently in “in-patient treatment” for his mental health. Clearly, his friendship with Peter was another casualty.

Peter Madrigal blamed his Zodiac sign for ending friendship with Jax Taylor

On August 12, Peter appeared on The Sarah Fraser Show podcast. The SUR manager said he decided to cut ties with Jax after he discovered that The Valley star spoke badly about him.

“See, here’s the thing with me and Jax. What happened was he was talking a lot of [expletive] about me behind my back. So I’m like, well, I’m not going to have that as a friend,” the former VPR star said. “Out of everyone, I was very loyal to him. For the longest time. Longest time. So once I found that out, I was like, all right. Well, we’re done. I’m a Gemini. I cut people off pretty quickly.”

Peter revealed that he did not confront Jax on the matter, and explained why he decided not to speak to his former friend and VPR co-star.

“He does that to a lot of people. You know what I mean? So what’s the point?” the Bravolebrity said.

Despite all the crossover action between Vanderpump Rules and The Valley, Peter won’t be involved with the spinoff show. He refuses to even watch it, because he thinks Jax is “like a grown adult acting like a child” on it. Moreover, Peter thinks that Jax uses some of the cast as “his minions.”

Vanderpump Rules is currently streaming on Peacock.
