Bethenny Frankel Wants ‘Acknowledgement’ From Hamptons Restaurant

Bethenny Frankel recently vented about not being properly acknowledged by a restaurant in the Hamptons. According to her, she made the restaurant famous.

The Real Housewives of New York alum fairly admitted that the restaurant has always been a favorite among Hampton locals. However, she said that she made it viral and turned it into a “destination.”

On the latest episode of Just B podcast, Bethenny touched on the relationship between tourists and locals in the Hamptons. This led her to mention a particular establishment that she did not name.

“I know this is gonna sound ridiculous,” she admitted. “And I can’t believe I’m ever gonna say this, but I made this one establishment in the Hamptons viral, to say the least,” she added.

“I made people come there to get certain items that are so expensive,” she said. She added that the restaurant’s dishes are so drastically and even “psychotically overpriced.”

For example, she claimed that the restaurant in question charges $30-$40 for something as simple as a chicken salad or guacamole. But she hinted that thanks to her endorsement people went there anyway.

She shared that she has since gone back and would have liked a little acknowledgment. “I’ve gone back to visit there and just want to some acknowledgment,” she explained. “And also to get some food. It would have been nice for someone to say, ‘Wow that was so funny’ or ‘That was so crazy’, or a wink or a smile or anything,” she finished.

She claims she doesn’t mean she wants them to “kiss her ass” by any means but to at least comment on the contribution she has made to the place.

“If you’re going to f**k me, you better be nice to me. It’s all I’m asking,” she said. “Otherwise, no way. We’re not f**king again.” Not quite sure I see the correlation here but she said what she said.

She added, “And the people making the guacamole are laughing that schmucks like us would pay $40 for guacamole.”

Although the former reality star didn’t outright identify the restaurant, Page Six reported that she has made several similar comments about an eatery called Round Swamp Farm.
