Catfish Fans Predict Feud Between Hosts Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford

Believe it or not, MTV is still airing new episodes of Catfish . Somehow, people are still getting duped by fake dating profiles, and they’re calling Nev Schulman for his “expertise” in uncovering the truth. If you’re of a particular age, you probably remember his silver-haired sidekick Max Joseph . Well, apparently he left in 2018, and in 2020, Kamie Crawford became Nev’s permanent co-host.

The duo is currently in their ninth season of Catfish, but fans of the show are convinced that there’s a feud going down between them. Since there’s nothing we love more than a behind-the-scenes feud, we’re digging into the evidence to figure out what’s going down between Nev and Kamie.

Is there a Catfish feud?

The rumors about the feud were first reported by The Sun . Their source was a Reddit thread, which we know is where all good conspiracy theories originate.

According to the Redditors, Nev unfollowed Kamie on Instagram. In the world of reality TV, that’s a surefire sign of trouble. Interestingly enough, Kamie still seems to be following her MTV costar. So, maybe this is a one-sided beef?

Of course, this could all be innocent, but it’s noteworthy that this comes on the heels of Nev surviving a horrific accident . In case you missed it, the Catfish host got hit by a truck while riding an electric bike. He was on his way to pick up his son from school.

“I’m lucky to be here, alive, standing and hugging my family, projected to make a full recovery. And I’m really starting to understand the meaning of gratitude. For the big and little things before the accident, and now everything moving forward,” Nev wrote on Instagram after the accident.

Nev suffered a broken neck, but as some fans pointed out, Kami was nowhere to be found in the comment section to wish him a speedy recovery. Perhaps that’s just a coincidence, or maybe they were never close like that. Either way, this whole situation has our eyebrows raised.

Catfish airs new episodes on MTV, Tuesdays at 8/7c.
