How Life Has Been Outside of Love Island USA for Kenny Rodriguez and JaNa Craig

JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez came to the Love Island USA villa looking for love. And against the odds of reality TV, it looks like they’ve found it! But what comes next for the couple now that they are outside the villa? Is a happily ever after in the cards?

The answer is leaning towards yes it seems. In the time they left Fiji, the third-place finishers of the reality TV show have only seen their love grow stronger. And this is despite them living in different states.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder?

“We spent two weeks without seeing each other,” Kenny said to E! News . “That was hard.” He is currently residing in Texas while JaNa lives in Nevada. And while it’s been hard to be apart, distance is just making the heart grow fonder.

“I literally think about her all the time when we’re not together,” Kenny admitted. “She’s been my peace through all of this.” That’s important since we all know how difficult being in the reality TV spotlight can be.

So how have the two been navigating the challenge of being apart? The same way all long-distance couples do it. Being together in spirit and making time for visits when possible.

Kenny shared, “We FaceTime in the morning and night. She came to Dallas, and we got to Texas BBQ. We went around, and I gave her a quick tour.”

The Dallas trip proved to be pivotal for the couple as Kenny revealed that he and JaNa are now “relationship official.”

“I took her out to a restaurant,” he shared. “And I got her a bouquet of flowers and asked her to be my girlfriend.”

Travel for two

But don’t misunderstand, it hasn’t all been rainbows and Texas BBQ. Like every couple, Kenny and JaNa are learning to live with and celebrate each other’s eccentricities. Overall though, the future is looking bright for the pair.

So what comes next? “Traveling,” Kenny gushed. “We like to travel.” Here’s wishing them all the best.
