Ariana Madix Defends Scheana Shay Against Social Media Jabs

The Season 11 Vanderpump Rules reunion was uncomfortable for Ariana Madix . The cast watched the final few minutes of the finale together. It was the first time that they saw the footage. So, Ariana was shocked to see Lala Kent and Scheana Shay bashing her for not shooting a scene with her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval. Lala was furious, and Scheana agreed with her. Now Ariana is defending Scheana after some nasty online comments targeted her.

Ariana Madix is standing up for Scheana Shay

Chicago on Broadway’s official Instagram account posted a video of Ariana listing everything that she did this summer. Not only did she host Love Island USA , but she also appeared in 100 Chicago shows. Plus she hit up Watch What Happens Live . The video had the caption, “One of the hardest working women we know! @arianamadix is only with us until Sept 1!”

Of course, some fans made some negative comments about Ariana’s co-stars. “I know @scheana punching the air rn cause you booked and busy lol,” one user wrote. Ariana replied to the fan, “Let’s stop with this” and added a heart emoji.

During Season 11, Scheana admitted to being jealous of Ariana when she was cast on Dancing with the Stars . For years, Scheana had dreamed of twirling around the ballroom. Add that to the pressure that Scheana felt by trying to be friends with Sandoval and Ariana. It was a lot.

During her visit to WWHL, host Andy Cohen asked Ariana if she and Scheana had been in contact. “ Yes, here and there ,” Ariana responded. She admitted that their friendship suffered after the Season 11 reunion. “There is a lot of love there. And I think it will always be there,” Ariana said.

Meanwhile, Scheana stood up for Ariana on her podcast after Lala made a shady comment. Lala stated that Ariana didn’t bring much to Pump Rules . Seriously? “I know Lala made a comment about Ariana just floating for a few seasons or not giving much. But I also know that Ariana was battling with depression for several years, and I think that she was giving her 100 percent,” Scheana said.

It seems like there is a path forward for Scheana and Ariana. But Lala and Ariana aren’t interested in being friends – ever.
