Jax Taylor Joins Jesse Lally for Dinner: Friends ‘Don’t Want Him To Be Alone’

Jax Taylor’s friends are rallying around him amidst his divorce drama. His buddy Jesse Lally invited him to dinner the same night estranged wife Brittany Cartwright served Jax with papers.

The Valley co-stars reportedly bonded over their shared experience. Jesse’s ex-wife Michelle Saniei also filed for divorce days after the show’s first season ended.

Just hours after the divorce news dropped, Jax was spotted having dinner with Jesse and his new girlfriend Lacy Nicole .

Friends don’t want Jax Taylor to be alone right now

Fresh out of an inpatient mental health program, Jax reported for his first day back on The Valley. He was welcomed back on set by a process server handing him divorce papers . (You can’t tell me showrunners didn’t have a hand in the timing.)

“[Jax] is close with Jesse Lally right now,” a source told The U.S. Sun . “They are leaning on each other amid divorces.”

“His friends don’t want to leave him alone at the moment,” the insider said, “and are rallying around him. But they also have children and responsibilities, [so] I hear he went home alone on Tuesday night.”

“Jax is understandably gutted it has come to this,” the source added, “but he respects Brittany’s decision. She is still the mother of his child, and they are focused on making Cruz the priority.”

Brittany just wanted to stop the madness

Since their initial separation in January, Britt has stuck by her story that she was just tired of all the arguing and bullying she’d been living with. The couple’s tumultuous relationship was documented in Season 1 of The Valley. The Kentucky Muffin couldn’t seem to do anything right in her husband’s eyes. He was perpetually criticizing her, both at home and in front of their friends.

Britt had just had enough. “This decision wasn’t made lightly, but she feels adamant that it was the right one,” an insider said at the time.

Britt was also seen publicly on the day their divorce papers were served. She was spotted at home, receiving a bottle of alcohol delivered by Uber Eats . Unlike her ex, Britt had a big smile on her face, and she appeared relaxed and happy. She was not wearing her wedding ring.

Despite Jax’s claims that his wife has a drinking issue, Britt says his drinking played a big part in their breakup.

“He was going out to the bar and stuff, coming home and having these horrible hangovers that would make him mean as a f*cking snake,” she said.

Things finally came to a head one morning as she was sleeping with Cruz. Jax came “barreling in” and started yelling at her.

“Finally, after he’s already been screaming at me for hours … I packed me and Cruz up, and we got the hell out of that house,” she reported. “I just kind of hit this point where I started noticing everything that he did to me.”
