Southern Charm Alum Rodrigo Reyes Announces Engagement

Rodrigo Reyes joined Season 9 of Southern Charm , along with fellow newbies JT Thomas and Rod Razavi. While Rodrigo may be new to the show, he is no stranger to the cast members. He has been longtime friends with several members of the group. We don’t know yet if we will be seeing Rodrigo during the upcoming season, but he has plenty of reasons to celebrate.

Rodrigo Reyes and Tyler Dugas are engaged!

Queens of Bravo shared Rodrigo’s Instagram Story. Rodrigo and his boyfriend of nearly a decade, Tyler Dugas, were vacationing in Santorini, Greece when he proposed. What a romantic spot to pop the question! “Across the globe, amongst our closest friends…” Rodrigo captioned his photos.

Next, he shared a sweet snap of him kissing the back of Tyler’s neck. “He said yes,” the caption read. So, where did the magical moment take place? Rodrigo got down on one knee at the PK Cocktail Bar, which is located at the Ipapantis Hotel Atlantis.

Just days earlier, Tyler posted a sweet Instagram message for Rodrigo’s birthday. “40 trips around the [sun] and 9 of them together. Here’s to many more! We love you! @roddy_rey,” Tyler wrote in the caption. Among the photos was a cute photo of Rodrigo snuggling a dog.

Rodrigo previously shared how he met Tyler . Rodrigo came to South Carolina to visit his girlfriend, who was attending the College of Charleston. Eventually, the couple parted ways. But when she got married, Tyler was her husband’s best friend. “We started dating long distance, and eventually I moved here to be with him,” Rodrigo explained.

The interior designer also fell in love with South Carolina. “It was so different than Arizona. I fell in love with the contrast of places,” Rodrigo said.
