Jennifer Pedranti Explains Why Ex-Husband Isn’t Making Divorce Settlement and Child Support Payments

Jennifer Pedranti theoretically scored a major win when she finalized her divorce over the summer. She and ex-husband William Pedranti have been at odds in court, and the Real Housewives of Orange County star often teared up about their inability to co-parent cordially.

But the reality now is in stark contrast to the triumphant news earlier this year. Unfortunately, William has not been making his payments. The RHOC star explained why during a recent interview with Jeff Lewis .

Jennifer Pedranti is more “grateful” than ever to have the RHOC job

While on Jeff Lewis Live , Jennifer revealed that despite the divorce being finalized, William is “still in a spot.”

“Everything when it comes to the lot of the expenses is on me and if I didn’t have the Housewives job, you know, I really don’t know where I would be, so I’m just grateful that I do have that,” the Bravolebrity said.

Jeff confirmed that Jen is supposed to get $6,000 a month, totaling child support and spousal support.

“Yes,” the yoga teacher confirmed. “And unfortunately, he has not been able to make those payments. You know, I don’t, this is again, Jeff, it’s a tough spot because I wish he and I could communicate. It’s a point of contention for Ryan [Boyajian] and I because Ryan’s like, ‘Why do you not hold his ass to the fire.’ He’s the dad of my kids, so there’s like a line of trying to be sympathetic to it. The kids and I do have a home. I do now.”

RHOC fans will recall that Jennifer moved in with Ryan earlier in Season 18. She took a lot of criticism for the decision, as her co-stars questioned whether she could take care of herself financially.

The RHOC star was also due to receive $200,000 as a settlement. She explained, “It was from a portion of the sale of our home, and no. I have not got any of it.”

“Oh my god, so what’s the point of settling all this if he’s not honoring his commitment?” Jeff reacted.

Jen’s “lack of communication” with William makes the situation harder

She explained, “We have communicated a little bit. He has said like, ‘I’m in a spot. I need a little bit of time.’ Thank god we have Ryan’s home. Thank god I have the little income that I have, but you know, you’re right. You get to a point where it’s like, ‘Okay, well what is your plan?’ and that’s the other thing. It’s like, just communicate with me. Tell me what the hell’s going on. What is going on? Maybe I can float the kids and I a little bit longer. Maybe I’m like, ‘Nope, I don’t agree with this anymore. It’s time to, you know, pay what you owe.’ The lack of communication is what makes it so hard.”

Jennifer explained that William is working and that her children see him busy all the time. Between that disconnect and the lack of communication, the RHOC star is frustrated.

“The kids are like, ‘Dad is working. Dad’s always on a call. Dad’s always,’ it’s always like, ‘Dad is working,’ because I’ll ask, ‘How’s your dad?’ You know, ‘How does your dad seem?'”

The kids see their father “Tuesday and Thursday nights and every other weekend.” Jennifer gets any information she can about William through her children.

“His life is very much simplified now, but that’s his business, but I’m not allowed to ask,” she shared.
