Meredith Marks on Mary Cosby Conflict: ‘I Don’t Understand It’

Mary Cosby is arguably the biggest anomaly to come out of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. That’s truly impressive, looking back on the franchise’s short but memorable history. We met Mary when she was yelling that people smelled like hospital and never looked back.

Mary typically feuds with all of her RHOSLC cast mates at some point. Her reasoning, on the other hand, is harder to understand. One person who she never seems to disagree with is Meredith Marks . But after Bravo released a trailer for RHOSLC Season 5, it looks like Mary is ready to turn on her longest friend on the cast.

Meredith Marks is confused by Mary Cosby

In an interview with Extra, Meredith talked a bit about her conflict with Mary during the upcoming RHOSLC season . Basically, Meredith doesn’t understand why Mary decided to start “coming at” her. “I wish I could tell you what the conflict is over but I can’t. I don’t understand it,” Meredith said.

Meredith hinted it involved something that the two had already talked about “ages ago,” so she didn’t understand the timing. “It felt very contrived to me,” she continued. “It felt like she wanted to pick a fight with me.” Mary’s actions are often hard to rationalize, so it’s not surprising that Meredith was left confused.

In general, Meredith feels “hurt” by Mary, “especially when [she’s] been there for [Mary] for years when nobody else would be.” Fair point for the Ice Queen. Meredith thinks that Mary has some new friends who are “in her ear” which could have impacted their disagreement. “I don’t ever want to see Mary on an island and only speaking to me,” Meredith added. All we can say is bring on Season 5 ASAP.
