Katie Ginella Accuses Heather Dubrow of Treating Her ‘Like Something Disposable’

Let’s just call it what it is. The Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars Heather Dubrow and Katie Ginella just don’t like each other. They’ll never be friends. Not as long as Katie keeps digging up their feud, which was supposed to be dead and buried. I saw Pet Sematary (read the book, too). I know that when you dig up something dead, it only gets worse.

In a sneak peek at the September 12 episode, Heather invites all the ladies to a spa getaway to Sonoma (my husband and I had our first “official” date there). Following a relaxing meditation session – the peaceful atmosphere only disrupted by Shannon Beador’s incessant coughing – Katie decided it was a good time to pull Heather aside for a chat.

Needless to say, it didn’t go over well. It’s never gonna heal, Katie, if you keep picking at the scab.

Katie Ginella can’t just leave the past in the past, much to Heather Dubrow’s upset

While their co-stars enjoyed a “stress ease” tea, Katie approached Heather. “I really want to talk to you,” she began. “All that stuff that came about, I feel like it was sort of a setup.”

As expected, Heather wasn’t happy about Katie bringing up drama she thought was over and told her so. “We are going backwards, Katie,” Heather snapped. “This is exactly what I don’t want. We are here in this beautiful spot for this thing that I am throwing, and it is a place I really don’t want to go to.”

In Us Weekly’s exclusive clip, Heather explained that she had let go of the past by even inviting Katie on the trip. But Katie still had issues she wanted to hash through.

“I want Heather to just let me speak and treat me like a human being,” Katie admitted in a confessional. “Because right now, she treats me like something disposable.”

At the end of the clip, Heather begs Katie to accept that Heather’s done talking about their issues and just let it go.

“I would have a lot more respect for Katie if she went up to me and went, ‘Hey, I screwed up,’” Heather decided. “But all I hear from Katie is whose fault it is. That was the wrong approach.”

She came in like a wrecking ball

Katie and Heather have been at odds since the beginning of the season. For some reason, Katie came in hot, accusing Heather of giving the paparazzi a heads up that she and husband Terry Dubrow would be at Disneyland. Katie claimed to have proof (“Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! F*cking everything!”), though Heather vehemently denied everything.

In addition, Heather’s feelings were hurt that none of her co-stars defended her against the allegations. “I understood when the girls were all at the bar … laughing and carrying on about it,” Heather said at the time. “[But] I kept thinking, ‘Why is no one asking to see proof? Why is no one vetting this information, and why is everyone so gleefully enjoying this?’”

Though she never said anything to any of the other women, Heather decided at that moment that she would never be friends with Katie. “That’s just not a friendship that I am choosing to pursue,’” she added. “I’ll always be polite. I’ll always be appropriate. But she taught me who she is.”
