Did Jenn Tran lie about her split from Devin Strader ? Devin recently accused The Bachelorette star of doing just that. After the way things ended between the two, one might’ve thought Devin would just let sleeping dogs lie. However, Devin now argues that there’s an issue of dishonesty afoot. So, what exactly are his claims?

On September 10, Devin posted a lengthy Instagram video which has since been archived by TikTok user @liketoknowlauren. In this video, Devin tried to display all he did to save his relationship with Jenn, countering Jenn’s claim that he was never in love . For example, he scheduled couples’ counseling.

“We went to a couple sessions together,” he said. “On top of that, Jenn and I were also doing individual counseling with our respective therapists from the show at the time.” He also denied acting strange on the day of the breakup.

Instead, he insisted that the day was meant to be another counseling session. “On the day that we broke up, I wasn’t acting weird. I really wanted to get to that happy couple [visit] and have that conversation with her in person. I did try to meet up with her.” Allegedly, Jenn refused to go if “it was just going to be a breakup,” so Devin felt she “forced [his] hand.”

Why Devin didn’t speak up during “After the Final Rose”

Devin also felt blindsided because Jenn told him they were on good terms ahead of “After the Final Rose.” “It was really, really disheartening to hear the way Jenn described it because that wasn’t true, and we both knew that that wasn’t true.” So, Jenn manipulated everyone into feeling heartbroken for her ?

He added, “I didn’t want to fight with her. That wasn’t my intention. I never intended to go up there and bicker.” Still, strange that he felt he had a different narrative but didn’t offer it at the time. Maybe some viewers were right to see red flags with this guy . Nevertheless, he denied playing the victim and he did apologize to Jenn for how it all went down.

“I did apologize, and she is the only one who needed an apology. In that moment, I realized I made a mistake, and I am sorry to her for that. Reflecting back, I do realize that I did make a poor decision, and I shouldn’t be playing with people’s feelings, especially when it’s regarding their emotions.”

Jenn has yet to respond. She might not respond at all, setting her sights instead on future reality TV endeavors .
