Why It’s Sweet To See Alexis Bellino’s Daughter Excited for Her Marriage

After weeks of toxic headlines, Alexis Bellino is finally able to share her joy in peace. The Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed that John Janssen had asked to steal her away forever. And, of course, she said yes. Even though John popped the question while wearing the Ferragamo shoes Shannon Beador bought him, Alexis was over the moon. And it seems she isn’t the only one happy for her new chapter as her family is rallying around her.

Alexis Bellino’s daughter wants to be a flower girl

I said it once, and I’ll say it again: It’s nice to see Alexis getting positive media coverage. The news came out late last year that Alexis and John were an item. And naturally, people had opinions. But even though some thought the love connection was all a ploy for ratings, Alexis always denied it had anything to do with her return to Real Housewives of Orange County. In fact, Alexis kept pushing the sentiment that you can’t help who you fall in love with, as sometimes the heart wants what it wants. When Alexis shared the good news, she told fans, “Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together with our kids.”

After the news broke that Alexis was engaged to Johnny J, Alexis’s daughter made sure to show her mother that she supported their union. Last week, Alexis took to her Instagram Story to share that her daughter, Mackenna Bellino, made a homemade flower bouquet to celebrate the engagement. Alexis posted a cute snap of her teenager’s art project, writing, “Thank you for the happy engagement bouquet you created, Kenna.” The flowers looked to be bright pink and orange roses with Baby’s Breath placed throughout. They sat perfectly in a glass vase.

Kenna wasn’t the only supporter of Alexis’s love journey. Katie Ginella and Jen Pedranti also spoiled the bride-to-be with a little gift. In her next Instagram Story, Alexis shared that her two friends bought her a crystal item from Baccarat. The French luxury designer is known for its fine crystal and sleek designs. It was nice to see some of the women take an interest in Alexis’ life and show her support for one of the happiest times in her life.

The ladies chose a rose-themed swing plate that came in a stunning red box. It almost could have been mistaken for Cartier. The cost was $170, which was split between them. The gesture was a token of goodwill, as its modern design complemented Alexis’ aesthetic. The plate had a hypnotic light effect if it caught the sun at the right angle, and I imagine Alexis and John will use this plate for all their hosting needs. The collection plate would make the perfect addition to any lady’s brunch. But she might want to keep it away from the OC women as they have a tendency to break stuff in the heat of the moment.

Not everyone is happy for Alexis Bellino

There is always a party pooper, and this time it seems to be Vicki Gunvalson . The OG took to her own Instagram to host a Q and A with fans after Episode 9 aired. A curious fan asked Vicki her thoughts about the engagement. Naturally, Vicki had some very strong opinions on the matter. In typical Vicki fashion, she responded with a meme of herself saying, “Talk to me in five years when you’re divorced.” But Vicki didn’t stop there, and she then responded to another question.

The fan inquired about how she felt about having Alexis back on the series. As fans will recall, the two women didn’t always see eye to eye in the earlier seasons. Vicki went low as she responded that the ‘friend of’ was an “IDIOT didn’t like her then and still don’t like her.” It’s safe to say that this charged response came as a rebuttal to Alexis’s “Welcome to my world” comment from Episode 8. I doubt we will see Vicki getting an invite to the wedding of the year anytime soon. And Vicki remains ever bitter about not having an orange. But like it or not, wedding bells will be ringing for Alexis, and most of us couldn’t be happier for her.
