Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Demi Engemann Blasts ‘Biggest Narcissist’ Zac Affleck

The new Hulu series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has attracted a ton of attention. The show follows a group of Mormom moms who happen to be influencers. But a “soft swinging” scandal nearly destroyed the #MomTok group. The show follows the women as they come back together post-scandal and deal with friendship and marital problems. So, when Jen Affleck’s husband, Zac Affleck , treated her poorly during the Las Vegas trip, Demi Engemann slammed his behavior.

Demi Engemann pushed back at Zac Affleck

During one of the episodes, the cast went to Las Vegas. Jessi Ngatikaura surprised the group with a Chippendales show. But when Jen told her husband, Zac, who had also gone to Vegas, he was furious. Although Jen left before the show started, he rage-texted Jen for hours before finally allowing her to come and speak with him at 2 a.m. What a gentleman!

The next morning, Demi told her co-stars that Jen left, and no one had heard from her. “Zac is the biggest narcissist. The things he was saying, guys,” Demi said. “She had me read their entire thread and I’m so glad I did because it was ten times worse than I could imagine.”

Demi repeated what Zac reportedly wrote. “I’m f*cking done, Jen. I’m done with our marriage. You’re disgusting. I don’t love you anymore,’” Demi said, imitating Zac.

“He’s threatening to take the kids. He’s threatening to move home to his mom’s house. It’s getting crazy,” Demi said in her confessional. “Clearly, she’s upset — she left at two in the morning in Vegas. Then I never heard from her again.” Yikes!

The women were upset that Zac would say those words to Jen. “You can’t take those words back. Even if they work through this, she’s always going to have that in her head,” Jessi stated. “This is going to damage her for life.”

Zac has something to say about the other couples

When Jen told her husband that she thought that he’d respond like the other husbands, he bashed the other couples, too. I guess he took a break from gambling for a second.

“He goes, ‘Stop bringing up other couples I would want to be nothing like.’ He’s like, ‘Jess cheated on her ex-husband,’ which is not true, like where did you get that?” Demi said to the group. “‘ Mayci [Neeley] and Jacob are a joke. She walks all over him. Demi? Divorced and married to a 50-year-old .’” But Demi also had some thoughts about Zac. “He’s trying to come off as if he’s this alpha and he’s coming across as the biggest baby b*tch right now,” she stated.

After the show premiered, Jen stated that her marriage to Zac was “great.” She added, “I feel like since the show ended, we’ve been doing nonstop therapy.” The rest of her co-stars’ concerns seem on point. Hopefully, Hulu will gift us a Season 2 to find out if Jen returns to #MomTok and if she moves back to Utah after relocating to New York City with Zac.
