Olivia Flowers and Family Pay Tribute to Her Late Brother Conner

Southern Charm alum Olivia Flowers lost her only sibling, Conner Flowers , last year. Recently, she had the opportunity to honor his memory in a very special way.

Conner suffered from Lyme disease for much of his life. On September 24, Olivia was invited to be the keynote speaker at the Project Lyme 2024 Gala in New York City.

Olivia attended the event accompanied by her boyfriend, Alex Williams, and her parents, Garry and Robin Flowers.

Olivia Flowers shared the pain of losing her only sibling

“Thank you [Project Lyme] for giving my family and [me] a beautiful night to honor my brother,” Olivia wrote on her Instagram Story from the event.

In addition to a photo of her and her family posing on the red carpet, she also shared a video of her taking the stage to present her speech.

Olivia’s brother passed away in January 2023, just a week shy of his 33rd birthday. On the day of his birthday, Olivia publicly addressed his passing for the first time on her Instagram.

“I’ve been avoiding the post and anything else that makes losing you our new reality ,” she wrote. “But I want to wish you a Happy Heavenly Birthday, Conner. Mom, Dad, and I love you. Here on earth, we are missing you #33.”

“Thank you to all those who have reached out and been so helpful during this time,” the post continued. “To be surrounded by those who knew and loved Conner all week was a gift in itself. We are so grateful for all your messages — please know they haven’t gone unseen.”

The Flowers family remembered Conner on the anniversary of his death

On Southern Charm Season 9 , which aired in January 2024, Olivia shared that her parents were “not that good.”

“My parents are just trying to get through, figure out their new reality,” she explained.

The social media marketer was grateful for the support she received from her castmates at the time. “I was very fortunate,” she said. “Everyone stepped up, and we really appreciate that.”

Olivia paid tribute to her brother on the first anniversary of Conner’s death in an Instagram Story. “This was an anniversary we’ve been dreading,” she wrote, “but we’re able to honor Conner and his memory in the utmost special way together as a family.”

The Flowers family attended a mass in honor of their only son at St. Patrick’s Cathedral to mark the anniversary of his passing.
