Stassi Schroeder Would Consider More Kids if She Was ‘Insanely Wealthy’

Stassi Schroeder is combating her baby fever with a healthy dose of reality. The former Vanderpump Rules star is already a mother to daughter Hartford, three, and son Messer, 12 months. But she considered whether or not to expand her family with her husband Beau Clark .

What could be holding them back if not an honest look at the practicalities? The New York Times bestselling author shared her thoughts during a recent episode of her podcast.

Despite being “supported,” Stassi feels “overwhelmed”

“Having it all in terms of what my family looks like, I’d love to have more kids if I was just insanely wealthy and had the most amount of help ever,” Stassi said on the Disrespectfully podcast, co-hosted by former co-star Katie Maloney .

In comparing her life with crooner John Legend and model Chrissy Teigen, Stassi admitted that she wouldn’t be able to handle four children without help.

“I’m like, ‘Damn you have four kids. How the f— are you doing that?’” the Off With My Head author joked. “There’s probably a nanny for each kid. I can’t afford that.”

Stassi did acknowledge that she has help from Beau. The former reality TV star also gave single parents credit for what they endured.

“I think of single parents every day, multiple times a day because I do have help,” she shared. “Hartford’s in school and I have a husband that does half the things I do. So I’m supported, but I still get overwhelmed all day long. I literally think, ‘There are people that are just doing this alone. Alone, alone.’”

In an interview from March 2023, Stassi told Us Weekly that it was her “fantasy” to have “a s- ton of children” with Beau.

“But children are really expensive. I’m discovering as life goes on — they’re very expensive and I feel like they’re the most time-consuming thing in the entire world,” she reasoned.

Ultimately, Stassi feels that having more children detracts from her parenting Hartford and Messer. However, she isn’t ready to rule out a third child completely.

“When I think about what I want my children’s lives to be like, I want to be able to devote so much attention to each of them and give them as much as possible. I’m like, ‘If I had a third, how would I give that one as much attention as these other two?’ So at this point, I feel like two is a great number for me, but never say never because I might wake up one day and decide today’s the day. You never know,” she said.
