Gene Simmons Joins Dancing with the Stars for ‘Hair Metal’ Night

Are you ready to rock? Dancing with the Stars is having Hair Metal night on Tuesday, October 8th, and I am here for it! My Aqua net hairspray is on standby! The dancing duos will all dance to rock anthems. Plus, a rock-and-roll legend, KISS star Gene Simmons , will join the judging panel.

What songs will the contestants dance to?

According to PEOPLE , Pasha Pashkov is choreographing the opening number. The DWTS pros will dance to Rock and Roll All Nite by KISS, and Whitesnake guitarist Joel Hoekstra will also take part.

Then, five couples will tackle the Paso Doble. Danny Amendola and Witney Carson will dance to Bon Jovi’s hit Livin’ on a Prayer, while Phaedra Parks and pro-Val Chmerkovskiy will perform to You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi. Then Dwight Howard and his partner, Daniella Karagach, will dance to Aerosmith’s song, Walk This Way. Actor Eric Roberts and pro-Britt Stewart will shake their groove things to Warrant’s hit, Cherry Pie. And finally, Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber’s dramatic Paso Doble is set to Europe’s The Final Countdown.

Meanwhile, Chandler Kinney and her partner Brandon Armstrong will perform the Jive to Twisted Sister’s hit, We’re Not Gonna Take It. Also performing a Jive are Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten. They are dancing to Quiet Riot’s song, Cum On Feel the Noize.

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko will tackle Poison’s hit, Nothin’ But a Good Time, for their Cha-Cha . And Reginald VelJohnson and his partner Emma Slater will dance their Cha-Cha to Twisted Sister’s song, I Wanna Rock.

For a change of pace, Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold, who is recovering from an ankle injury , will dance their Foxtrot to Here I Go Again by Whitesnake. And Bachelor star Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson will Tango to Scorpions’ song, Rock You Like a Hurricane.

Another episode of DWTS will air on Monday, October 7th. It will feature dances that were taped this week. The combined judges’ scores and viewer votes from both nights will determine each couple’s final score. And one couple will get the ballroom boot. During the second episode of DWTS, a salty Anna Delvey and Tori Spelling were sent home .

Dancing with the Stars Season 33 returns with two episodes on Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 8 at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
