RHOP Season 9, Episode 2 Preview: Mia Thornton Breaks Down

Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton is weaving one tangled web. Last season, her ex, Gordon Thornton , dropped several bombshells about their relationship. Namely, that the kids saw Mia and her new boyfriend, Incognito , together in bed. Believe it or not, things are better for Mia and Gordon these days. However, Mia’s choices were brought to light again by her castmates in the premiere episode of RHOP Season 9. And Mia did not take it well.

RHOP Season 9, Episode 2 sneak peek: Mia said Karen questioned her about protecting her kids because she “likes to deflect”

During the premiere episode, we found out Mia and Gordon were successfully coparenting. Mia and Inc were also “ hotter than ever .” It wasn’t all sunshine and roses, though. Mia brought up Inc’s request for a paternity test. She had an affair with Inc shortly after her IUI, and Inc wanted to know if he was Jeremiah’s father . Gordon gave that idea a hard pass.

At Gizelle Bryant’s hattitude party, she and Karen Huger teamed up to confront Mia . At first it was lighthearted, with Mia joking she and Inc folded Gordon’s laundry. But then Gizelle and Karen grilled Mia about the kids seeing her in bed with Inc. This resulted in Mia having the first walk-off of the season.

In the preview for Season 9, Episode 2, we kick off right where we left Mia last. She had run to the bathroom in hysterics. Jassi Rideaux and Jacqueline Blake comforted her and told her she was a great mom. Wendy Osefo announced to the table, “At the core of this group, we’re all mothers. I just think that was a lot.” Could Wendy and Mia finally be working their way towards a friendship?

Karen and Gizelle stated they didn’t say Mia wasn’t a good mother, and that wasn’t their intention. They didn’t say those words, but it was definitely implied. In her confessional, Mia said Karen “likes to deflect,” and it was “disheartening” she questioned her about her kids. It looks like Karen and Mia won’t be mending any fences anytime soon.
