Teddi Mellencamp Reveals Unaired RHOBH Scene That Made Her Want ‘To Die’

During her time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Two Ts podcast host Teddi Mellencamp had plenty of uncomfortable moments. Of course, most Housewives do, but Teddi took a lot of heat from her castmates and fans alike. But there is one particular unaired RHOBH scene that caused Teddi significant upset.

Now she’s revealing what happened and why she’s glad that moment didn’t make it to viewers.

Teddi Mellencamp’s husband put his foot in his mouth during unaired RHOBH scene

On a recent episode of her podcast Two Ts In A Pod, Teddi told her co-host Tamra Judge about the incident.

According to Teddi, she was in the car with her husband Edwin Arroyave discussing family planning. The fitness enthusiast noted that RHOBH producers urged her to have the conversation on camera.

“We start talking about it and Edwin says the quote, ‘Then you’re going to get big again. Are you okay with that?’” she recalled.

“I honestly wanted to die in that moment,” Teddi admitted. She said that if that exchange had made it on air, it “would have ended [them]” as a couple.

Despite being angry, Teddi explained that she didn’t confront Edwin on camera because she felt the need to protect her family . But she did have a tense conversation with him once the cameras were down.

“Then we got into the [expletive] car, and I was like ‘I am disgusted that you said that. I’m furious that you said that. You embarrassed me, you hurt me. You know my past issues .’ Like all of these things,” Teddi shared.

The former housewife has always been candid about her past struggles with weight but she was also concerned about how Edwin’s comment might impact viewers.

Teddi told him, “Yes that hurt me and I’ll remember that forever, but imagine the amount of other women that’s going to hurt when it plays out.”
