Jen Shah is one step closer to being a free woman. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has been behind bars since January 2023, when she pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud for running a telemarketing scheme that defrauded elderly people out of thousands of dollars. Jen was sentenced to six and a half years in prison, but it looks like her release date has now been moved forward again.

Page Six reported that the Bravo personality’s sentence had been reduced by eight months. Jen is now set to be released from Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas on Dec. 19, 2027, instead of Aug. 30, 2028. The mother of two first reported to prison in February 2023. She was also ordered to pay back $6.5 million in restitution. However, since February, Jen’s sentence length has been reduced twice. When Jen first entered the facility, her release date was 2029, but the date moved forward a year. In March, the Bureau of Prisons listed her release date as 2028. Now, the records show her release date as July 1, 2028.

It seems that Jen is acting as a model prisoner , which is a far cry from her RHOSLC personality. Jen has been keeping herself busy and teaching a Jane Fonda-like fitness class. The program includes a killer ab section and cardio HIT moves within a one-hour class. She has also befriended Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes . Jen’s manager, Chris Giovanni, told the outlet , “Jen has been mentoring and tutoring the other inmates and participating in anger management courses.”

Volunteering helps Jen shave off time, as prisoners are allowed up to 54 days of “good conduct time” off each year of their sentence. Jen and other prisoners can also earn additional time off by completing “Evidence-Based Recidivism Reduction” programs. At this rate, Jen could return to Bravo with her iconic lines in no time.

TELL US – IS IT GOOD THAT JEN IS GETTING TIME SHAVED OFF HER SENTENCE?

What’s so special about her to be able to get special treatment if it’d been others that committed the same crime they’d get the fullest sentence
