Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Davide Morosi Accidentally Married a Man Despite Being Straight

Have you ever accidentally married somebody? Probably not. Davide Morosi from Below Deck Sailing Yacht on the other hand? He’s been there and done that.

The new Chief Engineer on BDSY shared quite an interesting story on the latest episode about a time when he tied the knot with a guy just for kicks and giggles. We’ve heard a lot of sea tales across the Below Deck franchise, but this one might take the cake.

Davide Morosi was once a married man

We heard the surprising tidbit from Davide during BDSY Season 5, Episode 2 . While the guests were enjoying a “leather and lace,” Davide reflected on one of his wilder moments.

“I’ve never been to any leather and lace party,” Davide recalled. “But once, at this crazy festival, I ended up, like, marrying this guy.”

What kind of crazy festival was that, Davide? We’ve seen plenty of Bravolebs running around at Coachella . We’ve even seen them host Burning Man-themed parties. An impromptu marriage? That’s a new one. However, Davide explained that he’s just a “free spirit” and “different in many ways.” We respect it.

These days, it doesn’t seem like Davide has a special someone in his life, or at least, not what they know of. The husband from the festival is now a thing of the past.

“We actually divorced probably two or three years later,” Davide shared. “I’m straight, but we are married on Facebook as well.”

Keep in mind, we’re still very early into Season 5 , and we just met Davide. If we’re getting all of this tea from him already, no telling what other stories he has in store for us.
