Plane crash reported north of Gillette
UPDATE, 7/26/2024: The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed fatalities in a plane crash reported north of Gillette. According to Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds, the National Transportation Safety Board is responding to investigate and additional details will come through the federal agency. Reynolds could not provide identifying information for anyone involved in the crash.

Bighorn Canyon guided kayak program dates announced
The Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area is again offering guided kayak programs on Big Horn Lake. Programs will be held on the south district of the lake near Lovell. The programs cover proper paddling techniques, self-recovery of a capsized kayak, general safety precautions and fun facts about Bighorn Canyon presented by park rangers.

UPDATE: Man Suspected of Robbing 2 Cheyenne Banks Now in Custody
Cheyenne police are on the hunt for a man believed to be behind two bank robberies in Cheyenne Thursday afternoon. According to a department Facebook post, the man pictured above is suspected of robbing the Jonah Bank of Wyoming at 205 Storey Blvd. and the Western Vista Federal Credit Union at 3207 Sparks Rd.
Wyoming Legion Baseball Standings Update: July 25, 2024
The only part of the schedule left for Wyoming Legion Baseball programs is the postseason. The state tournaments for the top two levels start on Saturday and Monday, respectively. Ed Lynn Memorial Field in Powell is the A State Championship Baseball Tournament site. Mike Lansing Field in Casper will host the AA State Championship Baseball Tournament. The latest standings include all games played through July 24, 2024.
