Phase 1 of ‘War’ updates will be ready for home opener
• Loge seating and new press box coming next year. The University of Wyoming football team will open their season on the road against new Big-12 member Arizona State on August 31 in Tempe but the Cowboys will be hosting the University of Idaho Vandals on September 7 to open their home slate. It will be on that date that fans and ticket holders will have the chance to experience some of the new additions to War Memorial Stadium.

Yoder’s Hadley Thompson had quite the high school rodeo season and received the first WyoPreps Athlete of the Year award for Girls Rodeo. The honor was presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Wyld Gear. Thompson was the season all-around champ, won one event, and placed in the top five of four others. She also had a terrific showing at the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR).
